  • Medication: You should maintain your usual medication unless told otherwise. Any adjustment should be discussed beforehand with your doctor.
  • Clothing and Accessories: It is essential to wear comfortable sportswear and sneakers. Do not wear jewelry, necklaces, watches, or metal objects on the chest.
  • Specific Requirements: You should not perform intense physical exercise for 24 hours prior. It is extremely important not to smoke for at least 8 hours beforehand. Bringing a companion is not mandatory but recommended.
  • Expected discomfort or pain from the test: It is completely normal to feel intense fatigue, sweating, shortness of breath, and deep muscle tiredness. You will have to wear a tight mask over your nose and mouth, which may cause a slight temporary feeling of being overwhelmed.
